Project Details

  • For this project I was the sole UX/UI designer, but had a lot of help from my UX Certification class peers when it came to reviewing everything.

  • When doing research on FLWR shop's competitors, their websites felt overly complex. I tend to get decision paralysis when presented with a lot of options, so I wanted to ensure that FLWR shop's order and delivery process was simple and clear - making everything a lot easier for users.

  • Throughout the project I conducted user research and testing. I also created personas, user journey maps, paper wireframes, site maps, lo-fi wireframes, high-fi wireframes, and mockups.

  • A flower delivery website that is beautifully clear cut and straightforward, simplifying the user experience.

Throughout the project, I took note of encouraging words from my peers. My favorite quote is from Jung Lee, who said “I could see this blossoming into a live website.”

I also learned just how important it is to empathize with the user. There were so many cases where I was blind to an issue that the user ran into right away, so hearing feedback helped the website become so much better than I had planned.
